Contracted Services
The Contracted Services Program is a joint program between the St. Clair Catholic District School Board and the Lambton Kent District School Board. Contractors wishing to work for either School Board must meet the three basic components of the Contracted Services Program before being permitted to work on Board Property.
The program has been updated to make it easier and less complicated to use. All documents and training are now available on-line and can be accessed through the links below:
STEP 1 - CONTRACTOR TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Download Contractor Terms and Conditions. These are the set of rules required to be followed by all contractors while on site. Once you have reviewed and understand the working terms for the Board you can proceed to STEP 2.
STEP 2 - PREQUALIFICATION APPLICATION
To obtain the prequalification application email: purchasing@sccdsb.net. Complete the application and send it, along with a copy of your current WSIB Clearance Certificate and proof of liability insurance, to purchasing@sccdsb.net. Once the application form has been evaluated, you will receive notification as to whether or not you meet the minimum qualifications. This process may take some time. Do not proceed to STEP 3 until you have written notice from a Board Contact.
STEP 3 - BASIC SAFETY ORIENTATION TRAINING
Each person that will be working on Board property will be required to take this training. It is quick and easy but requires you to take a short test at the end. Once you successfully complete the test with a grade of 70% or higher, your name will automatically be added to our records (the function to print the test is NOT available).
STEP 4 - ARRIVING ON SITE
When arriving at any SCCDSB facility:
Report to the office and sign in.
Obtain temporary contractor badge and wear at all times on Board property.
Ensure the Principal is aware you are in the building.
Report to the school Custodian.
Review the Designated Substance / Asbestos report prior to the commencement of any work.
